1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SeedMap ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SeedMap is a Minecraft seed mapping application that offers:

  • Biome visualization for Minecraft seeds
  • Structure detection (villages, monuments, etc.)
  • Marker system for important locations
  • Pro version with enhanced features
  • Cloud synchronization of seeds and markers
  • Offline map calculation using the Cubiomes library

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

  • Minors under 16 years require consent from their legal guardians
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • Accounts are free with optional Pro version available

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activities
  • Harass other users
  • Use the app for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to bypass security measures

4. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Abuse the API or service
  • Harass other users
  • Share inappropriate content
  • Attempt to access restricted areas of the system
  • Reverse engineer the app or integrated Cubiomes library
  • Distribute malware or malicious code

5. Pro Version and Payments

5.1 Pro Subscription

  • Pro subscription provides enhanced features
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by law
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled
  • We may modify Pro version features at any time

5.2 Payment

  • All purchases are processed through Google Play/App Store
  • You agree to pay all charges at the prices displayed
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes

5.3 Pricing

All prices shown include statutory VAT. Prices will be clearly displayed before purchase.

6. Intellectual Property and Licenses

6.1 Ownership

  • The App and all related content are owned by Tim Heide & Felix K.
  • Users may not copy, modify, or distribute the App's content
  • User-generated seeds and markers remain the property of the user

6.2 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • Download and install the App
  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

6.3 Third-Party Licenses

  • The App uses the Cubiomes library under MIT License
  • Flutter Framework under BSD-3-Clause License
  • Additional open-source licenses are viewable within the app

6.4 Minecraft Relationship

  • This app is not officially approved by Mojang Studios or Microsoft
  • Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios
  • We claim no rights to Minecraft or related trademarks

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Warranty Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

7.2 Limitation of Damages

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of seeds or marker data
  • Service interruptions or synchronization errors
  • Indirect damages
  • Lost profits
  • Inaccuracies in Minecraft maps or structure positions

7.3 Cubiomes Accuracy

Map calculation is based on the Cubiomes library. We provide no guarantee of 100% accuracy for all structure positions or biome calculations.

8. Data Usage and Storage

8.1 Local Data

  • Seeds and markers are primarily stored locally on your device
  • Cache data is automatically managed
  • You may delete data at any time

8.2 Cloud Synchronization

  • Cloud synchronization is optional
  • Synchronized data is transmitted encrypted
  • You may disable synchronization at any time

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of new terms. Material changes will be announced within the app.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the state where the consumer has their habitual residence is not withdrawn.

If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Cologne, Germany.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.

14. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be viewed within the app under "Privacy Policy".

15. Right of Withdrawal

For paid subscriptions, the right of withdrawal expires at the beginning of contract execution, after the consumer has

  1. expressly agreed that the execution of the contract begins before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and
  2. confirmed their knowledge that by giving their consent, their right of withdrawal expires with the beginning of the execution of the contract.

16. Account Termination and Data Export

You may delete your account at any time. Before deletion, you can export your seeds and markers. After account deletion, all your data will be completely deleted within 30 days.
